Covid-19 Previous Update

Updated: Apr 13, 2021

This is our previous update. Please read our latest update by clicking here

Following on from Boris Johnson's announcement that once again England is in lockdown, we will be remaining open for all podiatry/chiropody and physiotherapy appointments at our Polegate clinic. Please see our official statement below.

From Monday 12th April, we will also be offering massage and acupuncture with Nicky Yates, as well as reflexology with Lorraine Humphrey.

We would also like to remind you that we are continuing to follow our rigorous cleaning procedures in clinic for the protection of both our staff and patients. Each member of staff maintains strict personal hygiene standards, as well as using new gloves for every patient interaction. PPE is worn by all staff members, including face masks. We use disinfectants across the whole clinic to ensure a safe and clean environment. After each use, all medical instruments receive the highest level of medical sterilization available.

All of our patients will continue to be triaged before attending their appointment, and we are also asking them to wait outside until their designated appointment time, at which point we will allow them into the clinic as long as they are wearing a mask. Hand sanitiser is also being offered to each patient upon entering and leaving the clinic.

Please do not attend our clinic if you have a new continuous cough, a high temperature, a change to your sense of smell or taste, or have recently been in contact with anyone with Covid-19. For more details about Covid-19, please visit the official NHS website.

If you have any concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Please note that our Burwash clinic is currently closed during this lockdown but should be opening again mid-April.

Keep well and stay safe.
