Meet the Team: John

Updated: May 22

Welcome back to our blog. We hope you had a lovely Christmas and new year!

Last month, we spoke to Lorraine, the owner of Podiatry & Wellness Clinic as part of our Meet the Team series. If you missed it, you can read it here.

This month, we had a chat with John, our lead physiotherapist and sports massage therapist. See what he said below.

Hi John. Describe yourself in 3 words.

Hard working, easy going and reliable.

Do you have any hobbies outside of work? If so, what are they?

Family, friends and football.

How long have you been a physiotherapist and how long have you been working at Podiatry & Wellness Clinic?

It's coming up to 7 years since I've been a physiotherapist and I've been working for the clinic for 2 years.

What is your favourite thing about being a physiotherapist?

I have the potential to help people who are in pain and to regain function. It's a very rewarding job.

What is the most common problem you see as a physiotherapist?

That's a difficult question as I see all sorts. However, back pain is very common but can be managed with the right treatment package.

If you could give one bit of advice about general healthcare, what would it be? (related to physio)

Keep active and keep moving as much as pain allows!

Is there an inspirational quote or motto that you live by? If so, what is it?

Not really but I like to surround myself with friends and family.

John works with us every Friday. To read his professional profile and to see a list of his treatments, click here.
