What’s Happening this Christmas at Podiatry & Wellness Clinic

This year at Podiatry & Wellness Clinic, we have decided to go BIG this Christmas. If you’ve been coming to our clinic for a while, you’ll know that Lorraine is a Christmas-fanatic, and the whole clinic gets decorated from head-to-toe in festive décor!

Every Christmas, our clinic always holds a festive raffle and donates the money to a specific charity. The last few years we have donated to St Wilfrid’s Hospice, and we are doing the same this year. But not only are we having a Christmas Raffle, we are holding a Christmas Jumper Week, and also offering St Wilfrid’s Giving Tree decorations to raise even more money for the hospice.

From Monday the 6th to Friday 10th December, Podiatry & Wellness Clinic will be donating £2 to St Wilfrid’s Hospice, for every person who wears a Christmas Jumper to the clinic. All of our staff will be getting involved, and if you have an appointment that week, join in on the fun and wear your most fabulously festive jumper to raise money for an amazing cause.

We will also be having Giving Tree decorations on offer from St Wilfrid’s Hospice, where you can fill your details in about a loved one you may have lost, and we will send the decoration back to the hospice for them to hang on their Christmas Giving Tree. Donations for these decorations start from £10.

On top of this, we have already put our Christmas Raffle on display in our Polegate clinic. A strip of tickets cost £1 and all proceedings will be sent to St Wilfrid’s Hospice. If you win, you would receive a beautiful wicker basket full of festive goodies, including a bottle of prosecco, a £35 Podiatry & Wellness Clinic voucher to be used on any treatment, Dermatonics Heel Balm, festive potpourri, Lindor chocolates, After-Eights, a scented candle, fruit cake and some beautiful Christmas decorations! Pop into our clinic to purchase your tickets.

We’re all very excited for the festive season, and we’re proud to be raising money for such an incredible cause. St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides end of life care to over 2000 people in the local community, in their hospice and in their patients’ homes. Many of their fundraising events had to be postponed or cancelled due to Covid-19, so they need our help now more than ever. It costs over £17,000 a day to run the hospice and 70% of this is raised by fundraising, so every penny you donate will really be making a difference to those who need it most.
